Handsome1
Hi! I do not figured out, why the vlc do not open the DVBViewer picture. My settings are like this. In DVBViewer activate is on and settings like this: Multicast 192.168.1.10 IP-Subnet 224.0.0.0 Port 2345 TTL site Buffercount 7 And I try to open the stream in VLC like this File--> Open network stream UDP/RTP Multicast IP 192.168.1.10 and port 2345 and OK Nothing happens, what is wrong? Lars_MQ
use the multicast group (224.0.0.0) not 127.0.0.1 in vlc. Quote Link to comment
Handsome1
use the multicast group (224.0.0.0) not 127.0.0.1 in vlc. Also tried that, but no sound or picture in VLC. Quote Link to comment
Handsome1
If I use DVBdiscover tool. I can see, that there is a stream: Servertype = DVBNetstream Streamtype = Multicast Adress = 224.0.0.0 Servername = ###### StreamPort = 2345 ControlPort = Not available So, the main issue is, why VLC do not open it? I use the newest version 0.8.6d. Is there any other way to try to open the stream or what can be wrong in VLC? Quote Link to comment
Derrick
Is there any particular reason for using multicast? I puts a heavy load on you network. But it works Quote Link to comment

But it works Do not know why this is not working for me. I should try to build the web page, that I could open different teletext in same page. So I was thinking to use multicast for that. I need to do that for monitoring like four different teletext page in one window. Is there another way to do that like using web server? Quote Link to comment

Derrick
If I try to take a picture, I only get blank screen.. Use a different renderer. It's not possible with overlay but vmr9 is fine. ..for the rest I don't have clue what you're up to Quote Link to comment
