Satellite Scanning in NA with Twinhan 1020

Hi guys,

I am a registered user of DVBViewer for more than a year now, but I had stopped using the application when my Skystar 2 was replaced by a Twinhan 1020.

Several days ago I downloaded the latest version of DVBViewer, and since then I have been unable to scan two satellites in North America, being reading the forum for days, and everything tells me I am not alone, cause other users are reporting the same issue.

The DVB card is recognized by DVBViewer after I registered the file thsource.ax, but after trying for days to scan, the application reports that zero program(s) were found.

The same problem occurs with TransEdit, my dish is connected to a Diseqc Switch with 4 ports, two Universal KU band LNBs are connected to this switch. Everything is smooth when I scan using ProgDVB.

I am using Non BDA drivers (WDM instead), is there anything I could do ?

Thanks in advance

the support for WDM drivers is removed in DVBViewer.

you need also the bda driver for your card.

Hello,

Thanks for answering.

Are you saying that if I install the BDA drivers DBVViewer will work?, all of the other applications I use work flawlessly with the WDM drivers.

Hello,

if you install the current bda driver for this card, DVBViewer will be work.

only you must do a new device scan in options -> hardware.

the best is, you make a recovery point for windows. if anything not working you can get back.

I appreciate you took the time to look into my problem.

My setup is working very nice with other applications, I will have to think about it before I proceed, I guess I will have to take the chance.

Gracias.
