Hi,

Sorry for my english.

I have :

- [satellite] Technisat Multytenne

- Skystar USB

- DVBViewer Pro

I haved tested the Technisat Multytenne with a TV installation and all is OK.

But I have a problem with the Skystar USB and DVBViewer.

- Astra 19.2°E : OK

- HotBird 13.0°E : not OK

When I scan the HotBird Channels, when I scan the HotBird Channels, I found only some ASTRA channels (51).

Must I configure server4PC with DVBViewer Pro ?

Is DVBViewer Pro compatible with Multytenne or Skystar USB ?

Must I configure the DiseqC in the DVBViewer Pro ? If yes, where ?

Thanks very much for your help.

Hello,

Must I configure server4PC with DVBViewer Pro ?
no, it can removed from autostart.

there is only needed if you use internet over satellite.

Is DVBViewer Pro compatible with Multytenne or Skystar USB ?
yes. which driver you use? the bda or wdm driver?

for best results use the wdm driver, only with this diseqc is possible.

Must I configure the DiseqC in the DVBViewer Pro ? If yes, where ?
yes. i don't know which sat is on which position.

the best is you test the four option (Pos A/Opt A, Pos B/Opt A) and so on.

I'm using the Multytenne with good results (though not with a SkyStar USB). DiSEqC must be assigned in the following way:

A/A Astra 19° E

B/A Hotbird

A/B Astra 23° E

B/B Astra 28° E

Go to Channel -> Channel Editor. Select the root folder with the according satellite position and set DiSEqC on the right.

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

I have configured the diseqC :

A/A Astra 19° E

B/A Hotbird

A/B Astra 23° E

B/B Astra 28° E

(thanks Griga)

Then I have downloaded the lastest drivers (4.4.1.0) and I have installed the WDM driver.

Astra is always OK.

But the scanning of the Hotbird channels is not OK : only 61 programs found...

I will start again at 0...
