DVBServer and multiple cards

Hi everyone!

Thanks for a great program. I’ve been searching this forum for a while now but I’m still confused (maybe on a higher level…) and want your help.

I’m trying my best to set up DVBViewer at five clients where one of them also acts as a server. What I want to accomplish is that with multiple DBT-T cards (two are present at the moment) at the server, be able to stream (using unicast) different channels (mux) to each client. With two cards I cover most FTA-channels here in Sweden.

I’ve tried to set up two instances of the DVBServer with different ports and this is working as long as not more than one client has the same DVBserver as “preferred“.

When using only one DVBServer, with both cards active, I can’t watch more than one mux at the time. It seems like I'm only can get one card working for each DVBServer. I believe that I’m doing something wrong here...

What is the priority if more than one client have the same card/devise as “preferred“ or “normal”.

How should I set up my system?

Do I need to run one instance of DVBServer for each card?

Regards from Sweden
