the current option isn't really true.

i'd like the program to actually start in full screen, not start in a window then switch to full screen which is what it currently does.

i run DVBViewer in a set top box / htpc enviroment, and it's spoiled by the window that pops up for around 2 seconds before it flicks to full screen.

also, being able to suppress the loading screen would be good too, the -nosplash option doesn't seem to work anymore?

Hello,

to actually start in full screen, not start in a window then switch to full screen which is what it currently does.
for this you must use the HTPC Mode, for more take a look into the file Tweaks.txt (installation folder)

To enter the HTPCMode you must edit the file setup.xml in the configuration folder (About -> config...)

then close DVBViewer Pro and open the setup.xml with notepad to copy the following into it:

	<entry name="HTPCMode">1</entry>

this must be into the section General.

to suppress the loading screen would be good too, the -nosplash option doesn't seem to work anymore?
yes, the -nosplash is removed and not working any more.

The DVBViewer can show who he is. <_<

i can live with the splash screen, at least it's nice looking ;)
