I recently (2 days ago !) had a new aerial for DVB-T receiption. After the install, the engineer tested the signal and we saw that it was good to strong. I started DVBViewer (last but one release 3.9.1 i think) - and for the first time tuned DVB-T..... 84 Channels (audio & video) from my local tramsmitter !!!

Combined with a new MCE remote - things were really very well indeed.

But I couldn't leave it alone and I upgrade to the 3.9 FINAL version. After installing .....I lost a quite a few of the channels.....and it won't re tune. It seems to miss a whole MUX.

I thought I might have screwed things up some how (I had been hacking around the registry to remove all traces of Sc*neo.) - but I started up the WinTV 2000 software that came with the Hauppauge card.......and it tuned every channel.

I''ve had a few tries at manually telling DVBViewer what the frequencies are - but with no luck. I have every combination of settings. Sometimes it tune 0 channels, sometimes 17 or 23.......but nothing like the full amount

Where did I go wrong ??

++ update ++

After many (fun) hours watching the scanning process - I notice that when DVBViewer hits the right frequencies - the signal bar hits about 80 or 90% ---- but sometimes does not add channels)

(typically, you see DVBViewer hit a frequency with content - and then adds the 5 or 6 channels from that MUX)
