Tuning to channel causes screen to blank

So, problem is, very often changing channel causes video to go blank, also audio disappears. I usually get them back when I rebuild graphics, but sometimes only option is to restart DVBViewer. I use Cyberlink codecs, and I've tried all renderers. It's not a hardware problem, because other programs, eg. ProgDVB work fine, although it has so ugly OSD, I can't use it.

So, when new version is out, if it would fix my problem?

Sorry, I completely missed that topic.

Card I use is TechnoTrend Budget C-1500 using latest BDA drivers, version 5.0.0.12.

Motherboard Asus A7N9X-E Deluxe, nForce2 chipset.

Graphics card ATI Radeon 9600Pro, driver version 8.391.0.0.

Better now?

Please rename the plugins folder in the DVBViewer program folder to plugins1. Does this help?

No, it doesn't.. Most problematic channel is MTV Finland, frequency 354MHz, symbol rate 6900, modulation QAM_128.

I have tried also Elecard and ffdshow codecs, but still it doesn't work right.

Please start the DVBViewer with the -debug commandline.

tune some channels. shut it down and post again a support.zip. It will contain a debug.log which might give a clue what is going on.

Here you go. Tried also with myTHEATRE, which also works fine with BDA driver.

Option -> DirectX set the audiorenderer back to default directsound device.

If this doesn't solve the problem, try changing the videorender and audio decoder.

Oh and remove send only encrypted channels in options -> hardware.

No, still doesn't change. I've tried almost all different combinations, Elecard, Cyberlink and ffdshow codecs and all different renderers, but it still blanks. And always when switching to/from MTV Finland. :bye:

I used DVBViewer in XP only for a short time, but I don't think that same thing happened with XP. Could Vista cause my problems?

Seems to be fixed in newest beta, :)
