DVBviewer and a Techntrend DVB-S2-3200 Satellite card, Configuring WHS

Hi all,

 

I currently have a WHS which is on 24/7.

 

I also have a HTPC which is on 24/7 so I can record programmes either in MCE or BBC-HD channel using DVBViewer and a Technotrend DVB-S2 card

 

I am aware of the issues configuring WHS to be a PVR using windows media centre edition (MCE) though I need to read the latest thoughts on that topic elsewhere.

 

However, I was wondering if any one has configured their WHS system to act as a PVR for any TV capture cards. If so what hardware/software combination works?

 

I have has this in mind for a while but I may spend a few hours fiddling over the Easter break to see if it would work.

 

Any comments, suggestions advice most appreiated. A glance of the Technotrend website does not look hopeful, no 2003 specific drivers exist, though Imay try the XP drivers.
