Hi,

I have problems being online via dialup and using DVBV at the same time.

Every time I switch a channel the transfer rate will drop to zero. :P Sometimes It'll even disconnect. I have to sort of reinitiate transfer by making a new request (site refresh or something).

Any ideas in this?

disable TCPIP on your SS2. The SS2 is in your system like a network card and maybe the system want to transport the packages to your SS2. If you disable TCPIP on this card, the system cant use it for network connections like internet.

I had to disable TCPIP everytime I wanted to play games on LAN. Somehow the SS2 got preferred. Eventually, I sorted this out with reinstall

Hi,

I use a conexant 56k internal PCI modem.

I don't have LAN problems. so the routing should be OK.

It could be a problem with the drivers interfering though. I'll see if maybe the SS2 and the modem use the same IRQ.

Try to give the SS2 an own IRQ.

Hi,

I couldn't give the ss2 an own IRQ so now it shares one with the soundcard and the modem has one alone. The problem's still present though. It could be that the modem driver has some problems. Although I installed a newer one, the problem is still there. So I'll have to be careful while switching channels. <shrug>
