DVBViewer skin too big

I am out of my wits here and need some help to try to figure out what's happened.

The problem occured when I had to upgrade my nvidia nForce drivers to get my raid-device going and all of a sudden the picture in DVBViewer got way crappy. It looks like bad hardware acceleration with lot of pixelation and really bad tearing. The OSD skin is bigger than the display except for channellist which shows correctly for some reason. This problem occur when I use VMR7/9 regardless of filter, when I use EVR the picture looks good and the OSD is correct size.

Here is a screenshot when using VMR9: http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs225&d=08135&am...9_nvidia322.jpg

Here is a screenshot when using EVR: http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs225&d=08135&am...r_nvidia647.jpg

The OSD size is apparent but the great improvement in picture quality when using EVR is not too visible in these screenshots unfortenately.

I currently run forceware 169.25 drivers, DVBViewer 3.9.2.0 in Vista 32-bit and I've tried the following without success:

1) Downgrade forceware to 162.18 (oldest I could find with support for my GeForce 6150SE nForce 430)

2) Upgraded Vista to SP1

3) Downgraded DVBViewer to 3.6.1.2.0

4) Reinstalled DVBViewer 3.9.2.0 after completely removing old installation

5) Downloaded new skin

6) Changed filters (tried dScaler5, Cyberlink, Nvidia and ffdshow)

7) Changed aspect ratio from none to auto, 16:9 and 4:3 and back again

8) Enabled nvidia post processing by using the enhancement sliders in the nvidia control panel

9) Enabled/disabled DXVA in nvidia and cyberlink filters

I can't say where the problem lies - if it's in Windows, in the nvidia drivers or in DVBViewer but I suspect it has something to do with the nvidia drivers as the problem occured when upgrading those. Any help to figure this out is greatly appreciated.

This is really weird. I thought I'd try to install Media Portal to see if the problem occur there as well and after installing and configuring I started it but there was no image - I didn't bother to troubleshoot but shut it down and started DVBViewer again. Now VMR9 rendering worked! I now use 3.9.2.0 with VMR9 renderer in Vista SP1 with Nvidia filter and DXVA enabled and everything looks as it should. I just can figure out this Windows thingy...
