mitsu Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 This is what I get when trying to play DVD: This is probably not a DVBViewer problem but have you any idea how to get the filters right? support.zip Quote

mitsu Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Nimm als audio renderer "Direct Sound Device" anstelle vom "ReClock Audio Renderer" Almost the same result. Only the left ReClock filter was changed to Direct Sound Device. I can remember same kind of problem a year ago or so. Don't remember the solution. Strange thing here is that I did not make any changes except installed the latest beta. Quote
Griga Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Only the left ReClock filter was changed to Direct Sound Device The basic problem is that the AC3 filter tends to connect to the video output pin of the DVD navigator, which doesn't make sense. Somehow this is "encouraged" by certain third party filters like ReClock or the InterVideo Audio Postprocessor, even if DVBViewer does not insert them in the filter graph. DirectShow is a kind of gamble... First I'd try to untick "Use for PCM" on the property page (system tab) of the AC3 Filter, in order to prevent it from coming in as audio postprocessor. If this doesn't help, ReClock must be unregistered, otherwise it will continue to come in automatically. Maybe it can be solved in DVBViewer by rendering the DVD Navigator output pins in a different order. After the audio and video decoder have been inserted, the video output pin is the first one, and DirectShow has the choice to connect the video decoder or the AC3 filter to it, because both will agree. Maybe it would be better to render the AC3 output pin first, so the audio decoder is already consumed.... I'll think about it. Quote
