Torstein Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Is it possible to get a "Left justify" option for subtitles? I just hate centered subtitles. It's like reading a book with all text centered Quote
Lars_MQ Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 oh you read two lines per pages books? And no, it is not possible the formating is predefined by the stations. Quote
Torstein Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Well, subtitles can have more then two lines A year ago, I used DreamBox 7020S with Gemini Linux image. I used an addon there called GSub where I could choose both position and left align or centered text. The formatting is predefined by the station, but that doesn't mean you can't change it. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 DVB-Subtitles are transmitted as images so there is no way except OCR we could change the justification. Quote
Torstein Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Sorry, I didn't say what kind of subtitles. I'm talking about teletext subtitles. They are text and not images. Canal Digital uses teletext subtitles in their movie channels. All HD channels I can receive use DVB-Subtitles, but they are already left justified Quote
