How I can use ac3filter for playing audio CD?

Please how I can use ac3filter for playing audio CD? Quality without this filter is very poor, bat when I play another audiostreams (AC3, DTS, mpeg) quality is very good because DVBViewer used ac3filter. For example MS mediaplayer can used ac3filter too. Why DVBViewer not?

I use my dvbwiever as HTPC system. Is very uncomfortable when is imposible configure audiostream from audiocd with Ac3filter settings.

Please help me. Version DVBViewer 3.9.2.

Why DVBViewer not?

Because DVBViewer allows to pre-select the audio renderer (see Options -> DirectX). If an audio renderer component is already present, DirectShow won't insert additional filters, unless mandatory. The AC3 filter is working as a (non-mandatory) audio postprocessor in this context, since WAV files and CD audio don't require a decoder.

 

The only way to add the AC3 filter would be a kind of audio postprocessor plugin.

But .. :-). How I can use AC3 filter as a kind of audio postprocessor plugin with DVBViewer? I need AC3 filter in dll forms? or somebody must write support for AC3 Filter plugin? This problem is not marginal. Example: users use DVBViewer as PC users and their audiosystems is ofen PC friedly (as my LOGITECH 5500). They have only one way for good configure - AC3Filter. If DVBViewer insnt generaly only software for TV card, but its good way for HTPC frontend, is important consistent support for all audiostreams - CD AUDIO too. (If its posibble of course). I think that this feature will be good for a lot of users.

Thank you very much for good solution :-). Now users can use spdf output for all audiostreams (with sound card without dts-conect or dolby digital live). For example old AC97 with spdf output.
