Tommy Larsen Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 My DVBViewer crashes randomly, sometimes it runs for hours, other times it's only minutes. It shows the window where I can put in my username and password, and tells me that DVBViewer after that has to be restarted. I tried both the latest stable version and also the beta, but both have this boring issue (on my system, at least). Event log says this: Faulting application DVBViewer.exe, version 3.9.3.26, time stamp 0x2a425e19, faulting module ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll_unloaded, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x47b2aef9, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x05122a6c, process id 0x5c0, application start time 0x01c89dfacc1532a2. I also added my support.zip Hope there is some kind of help, my wife finds it annoying that we have to restart something, just to watch tv....! Kind regards, Tommy Larsen support.zip Quote
Lars_MQ Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Please use the current beta. There are several improvements in the handling of the technotrend devices. Quote
Tommy Larsen Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 Please use the current beta. There are several improvements in the handling of the technotrend devices. Still no luck: Faulting application DVBViewer.exe, version 3.9.3.35, time stamp 0x2a425e19, faulting module ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll, version 1.0.1.15, time stamp 0x47b2aef9, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00002a6c, process id 0xeac, application start time 0x01c89e36fabe8ba5. Also, I can only record 8 MB of data, then it also crashes? /Tommy Quote

Tjod Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Pleas uninstall the DVBViewer Including the configuration Files and Install it than again. Quote
Per Arne Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I see that you are running Windows Vista. I had exactly the same problems as you - random crashing - had to input username and password - restarting - recording crashed the program after7-8 seconds. I am using the latest beta and running the program as administrator. However I didn't run the DVBViewer installation as administrator. After uninstalling everything and re-installing (right click -> Install as Administrator) everything works flawlessly! Maybe this is worth a try? PS I must say that this is a fantastic program. No other software I have tried has been near doing what I wanted and DVBViewer does everything and more. Great picture with EVR and near zero CPU usage on HD-channels using only integrated 780G graphics and a TT S2-3200. Quote
