DVBViewer crashes randomly

My DVBViewer crashes randomly, sometimes it runs for hours, other times it's only minutes. It shows the window where I can put in my username and password, and tells me that DVBViewer after that has to be restarted. I tried both the latest stable version and also the beta, but both have this boring issue (on my system, at least). Event log says this:

I also added my support.zip

 

Hope there is some kind of help, my wife finds it annoying that we have to restart something, just to watch tv....!

Also, I can only record 8 MB of data, then it also crashes?

Pleas uninstall the DVBViewer Including the configuration Files and Install it than again.

I see that you are running Windows Vista. I had exactly the same problems as you - random crashing - had to input username and password - restarting - recording crashed the program after7-8 seconds. I am using the latest beta and running the program as administrator. However I didn't run the DVBViewer installation as administrator. After uninstalling everything and re-installing (right click -> Install as Administrator) everything works flawlessly!

Maybe this is worth a try?

 

PS I must say that this is a fantastic program. No other software I have tried has been near doing what I wanted and DVBViewer does everything and more. Great picture with EVR and near zero CPU usage on HD-channels using only integrated 780G graphics and a TT S2-3200.
