Spud Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I installed a Peak DVB-T PCI card yesterday. It shows up in device manager as a "Philips SAA713X, Hybrid Capture Device". It works ok with DVBViewer V 3.9.2.0 and I can tune in the local FTA HiDef test station, some radio stations and encrypted TV stations also tune in ok. My problem is that I can't tune in the four main FTA TV stations, these all reside at 738 MHz (CH 54) along with the national radio stations. I did a bit of research and downloaded TransEdit but I still can't find the missing stations with blind scan or just scanning the 738 MHz frequency. I might be doing something wrong of course, any sugestions would be appreciated. I can read the following info from my STB for the main program RTE 1 Modulation: QAM 16 Guard Interval: 1/32 Transmit Mode: 8K Video PID: 1101 Audio PID: 1201 Hierarchy Mode: 0 HP Code Rate: 3/4 LP Code Rate: 1/2 Jim. Griga Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 My problem is that I can't tune in the four main FTA TV stations, these all reside at 738 MHz (CH 54) Have you already tried to shift the frequency a bit, let's say to 737.9, 737.8... 738.1, 738.2...? Quote
Griga Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 There we are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_terre...sion_in_Ireland Trials began again on August 4, 2006, with a high power multiplex ("Mux 1") transmitting on channel 54 (-167 kHz offset) from Three Rock Mountain. Quote
Spud Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 Thanks Grriga, I trried that just now and it worked at both 737.9 and 737.8, I have all the stations now. Jim. Quote
Griga Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 According to Wikipedia the correct frequency is 737.833 MHz. Quote
