Klausing Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 knows anybody a way to make a slow motion video from a normal PAL video? I want to make a slow motion from a 15s part of an video for further education. Cutting is not the problem. The problem is to create the slow motion. Steffen Quote
Guest Oliver Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Yes, it's not that difficult, just a bit complex. Have a look here (at the end). This page is very informative in all respects, though. Bye, Oliver Quote
Klausing Posted November 18, 2003 Author Posted November 18, 2003 Yeah iths a realy good site, but i search it for MPG2 and not DivX. and i dont want reencode DivX to MPG2. Quote
Guest Oliver Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Since it's only 15 seconds you can use HuffYUV or even uncompressed AVI, you needn't use DivX. Before my DVB-time I used a Pinnacle PCTV Pro and recorded always in HuffYUV (2h = 60 GB) . Bye, Oliver Quote
Klausing Posted November 18, 2003 Author Posted November 18, 2003 Hmm, who can read have an advantage ... Quote
Guest Oliver Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Do you refer to yourself or to me? Hm curios. In each case you would have to re-encode, but with HuffYUV you won't have an additional quality loss like DivX. Just perform the actions to create the slow motion file and encode it to MPEG2 again.
