DVBViewer 3.9.2 and Moteck SG2100 Motor

I have a Skystar2 PCI on a "normal" PC (Core2Duo E6600 2,4GHz, Asus P5KR, 2GB ram, Geforce 7950GT PCI-Ex) and recently I bought a Moteck SG2100 motor, which is a Diseqc 1.2 with GoToX function. I can't get it to work with DVBViewer, but with the SSDiseqc 1.10 plugin (which DVBViewer doesn't support) I can move and position the motor quite accurately.

Is there a way to get DVBViewer to work with this motor by his way, without using SSDiseqc plugin ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

the DVBViewer don't support DiSEqC higher than 1.0 for the SkyStar2. because its non-conform with the manufacturer's data.

and the DVBViewer will not be the software which kill you SkyStar2 ;)

if you wan't to use the motor in DVBViewer, you must buy a new dvb-card

You could use altdvb instead. It got the better diseqc implementation anyway..

btw.

If it doesn't work, nothing can go wrong but for devices that are supported, DVBViewer's diseqc contains a possible dangerous flaw. There is no fail safe implementation according to the eutesat specs when dring the motor east or west.
