dacraka Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Hi guys, When watching New Zealand Freeview HD (H.265/AAC) and when using an aspect ratio for example 16:9 etc the video appears to be squashed up in the top half of the DVBViewer window. When I cahnge the aspect ration to None it is all fine but I don't want to use none - I want to use the proper 16:9 ratio. See screenshot.jpg in the attachment for the screenshot. System specs: I am using AVerMedia Volar X USB A815 DVB-T tuner latest driver (1.0.64.38) GM965 Intel Motherboard if thats right? Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7700 @ 2.40GHz ATI Radeon HD2600 Pro 265mb (8.453.0.0) Codecs: CoreHVC H.264, Monogram AAC Oh, It also just looks like I only have this problem with MediaWorks stream (TV3 & C4) not TVNZ and Kordia Streams (only total of three streams in NZ) Thanks, Phill support.zip Quote
PhilW Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 (edited) I've not had any probelms, and it is most likely that this is due to renderers / decoders (I use EVR Vista Enhnaced video renderer, Cyberlink H.264/AVC). Choose these in Options -> DirectX settings). Try Arcsoft video decoder if you can't get hold of Cyberlink content. Search this forum, I think I saw a user offer a link to the CODECs Edited June 1, 2008 by PhilW Quote
