DVBViewer 3.9.2 Frequent Not Responding

Hello:

Am running DVBViewer PRO 3.9.2 on a Vista x64 box (4 GB ram, Athlon X2 6400+, Radeon 3850 HD) via a Technotrend Connect S2 3850 CI USB and keep experiencing frequent freezing where Vista reports DVBViewer as "Not Responding". After closing it forcibly, I often (but not always) cannot then restart DVBViewer until after I reboot the machine. I have noticed that the non responsiveness occurs mainly when switching between channels. Codecwise I am using the Cyberlink PowerDVD MPEG2 and H.264 codecs with Vista Enhanced Rendering which has lowered my CPU to only 5% when playing HD broadcasts (BBCHD).

Have downloaded the current GE version 2.5.3 and so far it has been much more stable than the PRO version, however, there are certain features I really need, mainly the ability to import XMLTV listings for at least a week into the EPG. Testing out myxmltv with DVBViewer GE, I never was able to successfully import xmltv listings. I currently have been using Import XMLTV script successfully with the PRO version.

Would greatly appreciate any advice anyone can give me to either make DVBViewer PRO more stable, or to get xmltv listings into the GE version.

Thanks so much.

David
