Mosaic doesn't work

I have never seen Mosaic work, yes PiP (Preview) works fine. I have no encrypted channels and have tried 8 different mpeg2 decoders to view the mosaic and only partial success. I tried Overlay and VMR7 modes (VMR9 is discoloured and I don't use Vista). There is no error at all. I enable Mosaic in the View menu and then nothing happens.

The best I have seen are 2 images out of the 4 channels available on that frequency. I say images, because they are only updated once every 13 seconds. Are 2 channels the limit and can I configure it to show realtime video? The main video stream is realtime. This is with DScaler mpeg2 plugin. The results varied a bit with MPEG2 decoders:

DScaler MPEG2: 2 of 4 channels shown. Every channel image updated every 13 seconds.

GPL MPEG-1/2 Decoder: All 4 channels shown and updated about every 5-6 seconds. All channels severely distorted.

ffdshow Video Decoder: Nothing shown.

InterVideo Video Decoder: Nothing shown.

MMedia MPEG2 Video Decoder: Nothing shown.

Nero Video Decoder: Nothing shown.

ATI MPEG Video Decoder: Nothing shown.

Am I wrong to expect realtime video in mosaic mode? And do anyone with the above video decoders have any success?

Also tried limiting number of Mosaic preview channels to 1 but that didn't change anything. While Preview mode can show 1 channel in realtime, Mosaic, using the same MPEG2 Video Decoder, cannot do the same.

Nobody has Mosaic working? Or have any suggestion to make it work for me?
