zoidberg77 Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 hi just got DVBViewer about a week ago and everthing works great except for 1 thing. i get a hd channel for my local cabel provider(stofa in denmark) called Canal+ HD, witch is just black screen. i can hear the audio but no picture. i been searching the board for any clues to no awail. tryed it with powerdvd8 ultra and CoreAVC decoder in every render setting and video format detecion on/off. anyone got any ideas about what the problem might be? my rig is : winxp pro sp3 duo core E6550 2.33GHz 2 GB ram Geforce 8800 GTS Forceware 175.16 FireDTV/C FW Ver.: 2.4.0 Build 51440 Driver : 4.8.0 any help/idea will be much appreciated. Hi, zoidberg77 ! Did you install any H.264 decoder ? And did you choose it for H.264 as standard in the options ? Please provide your support.zip... Another hint: I am using the Firedtv-C , too... Best regards maier2505 thanks for the snappy replay maier2505 H.264 decoders i have tryed are as followes. Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder(PDVD 8) CoreAVC Video Decoder ffdshow Video Decoder and yes i have tryed to switch around between em in options>DirectX with zero luck. and i will try with a older version of the firmware. support.zip Quote
