First i was puzzled when i saw the mediahighway/siehfern options in DVBViewer.

We only see frequency, polarity and type defined. Are these frequencies the same for any satellite?????? ;)

If so, do i lose EPG where Midiahighway is not available because, i have to set the global option to 'Not receive EPG data' to be able to receive Mediahighway Data?

Thanks, Eppo

No; instead the frequency are most likely different form sat to sat, so it is difficult that there whas the same transponder frequency (and polarity as you know) on two different sat...

BTW, you have to enter the frequency (and pol) of a channel that exist in your channel list; so, whenever you tune a channel of the same transponder (ie same freq & same pol, so, as stated above, same sat), DVBViewer try to download the MHW-EPG; you have to wait some time (even some minutes) to "capture" the whole EPG data, and when it's done you receive a OSD confirmation message...

If you dish point to Astra 19.2Est you can test with the transponder 12363 V , tuning the cannel "GUIDE TV"...

I can't clearly understand what you mean after in the post, but if you do prefer to store/see the MHW/SiehFern data (usually 7 days long) instead of the usually 2-days long "normal" EPG, you do have to set "Do Not Receive EPG Data" AND "Receive Madiahighway EPG data"... and don't remember to set also "Persistent EPG data"...:wacko:
