Hi folks,

bought one of these multi cards (mainly for hd) and having a few problems.

I can view the dvb-s channels and scan for dvb-s channels fine.

When i go to search for dvb-s2 transponders this card seems to be useless.

You can use transedit and set up the parameters and still not lock onto the hd transponder.

Here is the strange bit.

I got hold of a sat list for 28 east/19 east/ 13 east (with hd channels set up already) and the card recognises the already set up transpoonders and channels. The card is able to view the fta on astra and displays an excellent picture.

i have 2 questions.

1. Does anyone else have experience of this card and have the same hassles.

2. Does anyone have a full channel list for a motorised system that they would be willing to post or email.

Would realy like to get this card working 100% as i also want to use it for feed hunting (eg HD F1).

Got the paramaters for the F1 feed on 1 west yesterday and surprise surprise the card would not lock onto the transponder even thought he signal strength was spot on.

Ideas?

The transponder lists for Astra 19/23/28° and Hotbird 13° E that are contained in the TransEdit 3.2 zip (see members area) have been created/tested with a Hauppauge Nova S2 HD (AFAIK based on the same DVB-S/S2 design as the HVR 4000). No problem to scan/receive HD channels resp. DVB-S2 transponders here.
