jameson_uk Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Could be I am missing something but is it possible to re-order the channels? For WAF I need to have BBC on channel 1 and say E4 on channel 29. The radio channels then start at 700 odd I downloaded CHNumbers but this appears to allow you to reorder files but not have gaps. I have something like 83 channels so I can't set the radio channels to be 700+ Is this possible? Whilst I am at it, can I suggest someone adds a sticky about missing channels. It took me a couple of hours to figure out the transpoder ini files controlled which frequencies are being scanned and even longer to figure out that the ones in the DVBViewer folder are not actually used and it is those in Documents and Settings which actually change anything... There have been a lot of heated discussions on this forum about this design decision but after all it's not a bad one. You can reorder them using the channel editor. The common advice is to insert dummy channels if you want your channels to have a specific number. In your case this means inserting 600+ channels so that radio starts at 700. If you have satellite this is no very difficult as there are so many junk channels with DVBT you can just do multiple scans to create those dummy channels. Whilst I am at it, can I suggest someone adds a sticky about missing channels. A Wiki has just been launched, but it is in German only. As it uses MediaWiki (the engine of Wikipedia) it's not very difficult to set it to be multilanguages so maybe with some popular demand...
