ramonchin Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Hi Since I use Vista 32bits SP1, when PC tries to suspend system while using DVBViewer , DVBViewer doesn't close, so any recording is scheduled on "DVB Task scheduler", but system goes to standby mode fine. When system resumes, DVBViewer start instantly (doesn't matter what delay is set on DVB Task scheduler) and video often doesn't play well. In DVBViewer options, I have the same configuration than in XP... Close DVBViewer on exit, Normal exit (not extended) and don't confirm exit. I've last DVBViewer and DVB Task scheduler versions. Please help. Thanks. Quote
Hartwig Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 You must close DVBViewer before you go to standby/hibernate. It's a new Vista feature. No program can cancel an executed suspend state. So you must close DVBViewer or execute any suspend state from DVBViewer (OSD). Quote

Hartwig Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Yes. but you can execute standby over DVBViewer. Or can you define a command for the standby button of your remote? Quote

Is "Standby" on DVBViewer OSD? On the other hand, under vista, Why "DVB task scheduler" schedules the same recording twice (3 delay minutes between them)? Thanks. Quote
Hartwig Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Is "Standby" on DVBViewer OSD?YesWhy "DVB task scheduler" schedules the same recording twiceOften DVBViewer isn't started by the first Task, but the first tasks starts your PC. In this case, the second tasks starts DVBViewer to get a proper recording. Quote

On the other hand, I'll try to remap an unused button on my remote for proper standby. I'll try with "Standby" button, bu since is a windows mapped button, I don't think it work. Thanks. Quote
