Help, Need DVB-T USB 2.0 & USB CI Module suggestion?

Hello,

Since Norway now has shut down the Analouge Broadcast, I need a new solution in my boat.

I have a Laptop with HW support MPEG2-4 (nVidia 8500 Mobile).

I have tested it with DVBViewer at home with HD and UDPClient and it worked great (1080i only 15-20% CPU with EVR HW).

So to be able to use this in our boat, we just need a USB-2.0 Compatible DVB-T Card and a supported USB CI (Common Interface).

Any suggestion for 100% supported Hardware in DVBViewer and Vista?

Thanks,

Digi

Hmm, I only have experience with Hauppauge HVR-4000 plugin cards and DVB-T reception. They have several USB devices, but it seems like they do not support even their own WinTV-CI-USB. You also have the issue with card pairing, AFAIK you are forced to buy the CAM and program card as one package fro RiksTV.

Let us know if you find a working solution.
