Need Help setting up DVBViewer

Hi,

I recently bought DVBViewer and still haven't managed to get it fully working.

I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-4000 connected to my Sky satellite dish, (I live in London, UK btw).

The connection is usually pretty good, at 94% most of the time.

I have managed to get some channels working OK, all the ITVs, More4, E4, however I can't get some channels like BBC News 24, BBC 1 England, BBC 2 working.

I have tried adding channels from http://nl.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E-fta.php with out any luck, not sure what to put for DiseqC, Tone, or LOF.

Also BBC HD is jittery most of the time, I have installed CoreAVC and PowerDVD 8. Could this have something to do with my graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce 7300GS, not being powerful enough because I'm sure the rest of my PC is OK.

Thanks

Hi!

Have you checked with a satelite tuner that your head is in the correct position for the satelite? I.e. can you tune the channels with a standard tuner? I use Pos A/Opt A for the first head and Pos A/Opt B for the second.

Regarding jittery HD output I would suspect your graphic card to be the reason. I myself use the CoreAVC decoder with excelent results on most HD channels.

Sorry, I must correct myself. I use SimpleA and SimpleB in the DiseqC settings.
