Kuni Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 All praise to DVBViewer!! Ok, I have a feeling this has been asked/answered and forgotten long ago, but I couldn't find the answer.. Zoomplayer can FFW at varying speeds through .AVI/MPG/TS DVBViewer cannot. Can someone please explain WHY I can't fast forward through (say the ads) but have to blindly jump foward and back? This is not a criticism of DVBViewer I just can't understand why. If it's related to the internal codec, that's fine, but is there an alternative/ any other way of enabling this on DBV? PS the File Browser [shift -f] (semi HTPC menu on Zoom player) is really excellent. If DVBViewer could implement just that one thing (IE full scrolling, different colour when a file has been watched [not just an asterisk], play all files in the directory) , it would really make it THE HTPC interface. I hate having to use Zoom player for the WAF.. Quote

Kuni Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 C'mon LARS, it's a question that shouldn't tax you too much to answer. Why is this question still being ignored? I expected some reply, no matter how smart-arse. But nothing at all, to a serious question, which gets asked now and then. Quote

But nothing at all, to a serious question, which gets asked now and then. Tell you what - I'll ask the same question (herewith). If enough people keep asking, then maybe it will be seen as a feature worth doing. I too get fed up of doing a "binary search" with decreasing fast forward/rewind resolutions (the only way I can see to do it relatively quickly at the moment). Quote
Lars_MQ Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 No answer is also an answer. It has been discussed several times, so please use the search and you will find our answers. I'll even give you a short summary: No. Quote
Devastation Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 No. good. I worked long to make the jump+/- parameters perfectly for me. Dont want the work to be for nothing. Quote
