Nimloth Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) Hello, I'm new to Vista and at start one bug - AC3 Audio Decoder: CyberLink Audio Decoder (PDVD8) is not used even when selected. Instead of it AC3 filter is used - check attached pics also. Sat card: Skystar HD2 Chipset MB: Intel X38 Graph. card: ASUS 9800GTX and latest drivers PS. On WinXP it was working Thanks support.zip Edited June 29, 2008 by Nimloth Quote
Lars_MQ Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Yeah indeed a bug. It sits right in front of the computer and did not configure AC3 Flter correctly... Quote

esackbauer Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 (edited) I have a similar problem. I installed PowerDVD8, then I though "hey, now I can use the Cyberlink Audio Decoder with Vista instead of AC3filter". I selected in Options-Directx the cyberlink audio decoder. But still it used AC3filter. Then I uninstalled AC3filter. Now I have no sound, but an error message coming up after starting DVBViewer "Could not render audio pin". I reinstalled AC3filter, to no avail. However, if I switch between AC3 and non AC3 stations, I suddenly get sound, and it stays then until next time the graph is rebuilt. Funny thing: I can see a DirectShow Graph number for BDA and playback, however when I connect to it with Graphedit it would only show an empty window! Any thoughts? I get 2 windows open up when I launch DVBViewer. I am running 3.9.4 on Vista 32. see upload I also asked about how to add a Terrestial USB device to be detected by DVBViewer. Quote
