Danielem Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Hello, i'm from Italy, i've a problem ONLY when i run DVBViewer 3.9.2 on Windows Vista. Program is installed on C:\DVBViewer and this is my usermode.ini [Mode] UserMode=1 Root=CMUV\DVBViewer [Card] Unicast=1 Multicast=1 Filedevice=0 Problem is that after i do a channel scan, it always tell me "Cannot load Source filter, error: 0x80004003" when i click on a channel in the channel list. This happens only on Windows Vista, on Windows XP i haven't any problem. Thanks in advance. Quote
Takashi Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Hi there, unfortunately I can't help you, but I have a very similar problem under Vista, with DVBViewer 3.9.4.0: I can't switch to the AC3 (Dolby Digital) Audio Channels. As soon as I switch to an AC3 channel via the EPG, DVBViewer freezes. After a restart I get the same error message. When I switch back to a Stereo Channel, it works fine. Have already tried different Codecs, but none of them worked (MainConcept, Nero, Cyberlink [PDVD7]). Under Windows XP everything worked fine! I need the AC3 audiochannels for recordings. Takashi Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Seems that I managed to resolve the problem: I installed a codec pack (K-Lite 4.0) and choosed the contained AC3Filter as AC3 Audio Decoder. Now also the Dolby Digital Audio Tracks are working. It's just a bit strange that my Nero 6 installation under Windows XP had sufficient codecs to accomplish the same task. Under Vista I had Nero 7 Essentials installed (since Nero 6 doesn't work any more) and PowerDVD 7 (Cyberlink) as Soft-DVD player. I would have thought, that the Cyberlink decoders are sufficient, but they seem to be to no avail... Regards, Takashi Quote
