adriankoooo Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Hi, today I purchased the Dvbiewer Pro, but I am unable to get dvbserver to work . Here is what I do: server setup: laptop setup: --- there are no clients: (firewall turned off) Thanks Quote
nigelbb Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Use Autodiscovery to confirm that you can connect to the server & then all the correct details will be automatically filed in on the client. At present you server Autodiscover is on port 600 but on port 599 on the client so it won't work. Quote

I too am having configuration problems with this... same set up virtually - ip addresses aside, don't find anything with udp multicast or unicast even tried vlc see if that found anything... Anyone got an idiot's guide - i'd love to use this on my laptop! Cheers Quote
Moses Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 dvbserver can only work together with DVBViewer as client. If you want to stream to vlc or similar, you should use the netstreaming plugin for DVBViewer. Quote
