Hi and hello everone and all is going well so far. Just a couple of questions. I was using PowerCinema before but i found it a bit clunky and prone to crashing. I was also using the remote that came with the WinTV-Nova-HD-S2 card. DVBViewer seems much more intuitive and easier to use but the remote doesn't work with it. Also I have seen a epg plugin, how do I import plugins? I have only just began tinkering about with DVBViewer and don't want to do anything to crash it. I've got all the channels listed and they all display well. If this has been answered before please forgive me, I couldn't even find the search function in this forum! any suggestions please. Oh, please be patient with me as I'm an old man (65) and probably not so cool with all the procedures.

The Hauppauge 45 button remote control can be programmed to generate keyboard shortcuts e.g. pressing CTRL + X to close an application would be {ctrl}x, you simply edit the irremote.ini file in the Windows folder.

 

The way to configure DVBViewer with keyboard shortcuts is to assign you own ones. In DVBViewer go to 'Settings' menu, Options and then Input on the left hand side, you have to click the Learn button and then press the key sequence you want use, it will record it.
