newbie questions

I have purchasesd a ss hd2 and the DVBViewer Pro (3.9.4). I would like your help in some problems; Some things referenced in the DVBViewer user manual are completely different in my installation:

 

1. The following files mentioned in the manual and the tweaks.txt file do no exist in the DVBViewer folder or in any other place in my computer: channels.dat and setup.xml.

 

2. In the input paragraph of the options window (manual para. 7) is stated:

 

"Keyboard: The left side of the list presents the available DVBViewer functions. The right side contains the assigned keys. In order to modify an as­signment, double-click the desired entry, and then press a key or a combination of keys (e.g. [Ctrl]+[Q])."

 

When double-clicking the entry it does not let me edit the key. By the way the Edit button is disabled as well.

 

 

I can scan transponders and receive channels.

1. Thy are in the Configuration Folder (About > Configuration Folder in the DVBViewer).

 

2. Select a command > click on Learn > pres the key > click on Learn.

 

This Manuel is vary old. It was updated the last time for DVBViewer Pro 3.1 (my first version ).

A more up to date version is this, but although not really up to date.
