pietrek Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Hello I have DVBViewer 3.9.4.0 and i have problem with HD chanels on those picture is "freezing" My CPu C2D 2,33Mhz 8800GTS 2GB RAM TT-3200 , Pdvd v.8 and vista. What codeks and preferences are the best for HD? Quote
balky Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 My near guess is that hardware acceleration is not happening on your grahics card... This could come from settings in the graphics card driver or the codecs... I use an ATI card, so I can't really tell where to look since you use NVIDIA... You can also check in DVBV under view - filter and see that use DXVA is checked... Quote

Aardie Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 what soft for my graphic card are the best for HD? 8800 gts should be fine but what OS are you using Vista is best with EVR renderer Im using onboard ATI 3200 on a 780g Motherboard. I had real problems with XP (Cpu usage at 100%) and a AMD X2 4850 switched to Vista and its fine with Cpu around 10% with the EVR option enabled. Hope this helps. Regards Quote
Frogster Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Vista is best with EVR renderer EVR works fine for me in XP. Quote
Frogster Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 My CPu C2D 2,33Mhz 8800GTS 2GB RAM TT-3200 , Pdvd v.8 and vista. You shouldn't have much trouble with this spec. Have you installed the updates to PDVD8? HD didn't work properly for me with the PDVD codec selected until I did. Quote
