HD Channels slovmotion like playback

Hi

 

Im having som ewierd problems when i whatch a HD channel. In the first 2 minutes it plays fine but uses about 60-70% cpu after 2 minutes i begins to play in somekind of slowmotion and cpu load drops to 20%.

 

Something tells me the system dont uses HW decoding using my nvidia 8500GT.

 

It is the same using vmr7, 9 or vista

 

my setup is

 

Asus P5K-VM

Geforce 8500GT

250 GB HD 7200 RPM

Terratec cinergy S2 HD tuner

3 GB Ram

 

Im using power dvd 8 codecs

 

The problem exists in both xp and vista.

I had a problem similar to this and was told (on another forum) to try using the CoreAVC codecs for H.264 playback & im pleased to say it now works flawlessly. (give the trial version of CoreAVC a try)
