gareth42 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I create a new topic and a new account because i cannot reply to the other one due to some sad person locking both the topic and my account. Anyway thanks for NOT allowing me to try this software before i buy it, hence why i have a "pirate copy". I pay for my software like everyone else, but I would like to see that it works with NZ's new DVB-T HDTV service before I spend my money, how can I test this if there is no trial version of DVBViewer? Sorry but im not going to waste my money on something only to find out it does not work. I think i would rather stick with ProgDVB from www.progdvb.com for DVB-T, atleast i know that it works and they have good support for their trial version unlike with DVBViewer which has no trial at all! And you wonder why people pirate software these days??? Yes i will be getting rid of DVBViewer from my machine because its basicly sht. Why cant you design software that actualy works and include all the nessesary codecs like the author of ProgDVB did? Something else I must add, I also have a SkyStar2 dvb-s card which came bundled with DVBViewer Technisat Edition, the software didnt last longer than a day on my machine when i bought that card, i ended up downloading AltDVB which is FREE and it works no problems at all, and is VERY stable.
