gammaboo Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I am having an off issue with a Conexant 2388x BDA Tuner card. The video is crystal clear on all channels. Audio is fine, with the exception of the local public broadcasting channels. The stream has 28-1, 28-2, 28-3, and 28-4. Audio is perfect for 28-2. None of the other three has any audio at all. I have tried multile codecs: ACFilter, ffdshow, Sonic MCE, MPEG Audio decoder, Nero audio decoder 2, ArcSoft Audio decoder, and ArcSoft MPEG Audio decoder. All produce audio for the other channels, but not the three mentioned. Audio format detection made no difference either. Anyone have an idea? Thanks! support.zip Quote
gammaboo Posted August 9, 2008 Author Posted August 9, 2008 Fixed the issue. Removed the 3.9.4.0 version and installed 3.6.1.2 - works great for all channels now, great audio & video. Quote
Benarty Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 (edited) 3.9.4+powerDVD work stable I see no reason that you use too many codec's arcsoft, sonic cinemaster Stick with DVBViewer and one mpeg decoder and powerDVD is not a bad choise at all. Odd sound problem, for instance a chipmunck effect are related with the audio driver. Just install the audio driver again and sound problem should be gone. Edited August 10, 2008 by Benarty Quote
