headrat_uk
I can't get past "Configuration Wizard" as it never finishes the setup Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Go on one step back in the Wizard from the scanning window and select no for scanning. Quote Link to comment
headrat_uk
When I hit the scan button it doesn't do anything! Edited August 12, 2008 by headrat_uk Quote Link to comment
Tjod
This is for Scanig for new Hardwar. Go to Channel > Channel scan. Quote Link to comment

Tjod
Start the DVBViewer via start menu > programmes > DVBViewer > support > DVBViewer Pro (Debug Mode). And than tay it with Scan Range. And than post your support.zip. And did the Hauppauge Software finds Channels in Vista X64? Quote Link to comment
headrat_uk
support.zip Still no joy scanning, yep it picks up fine in VMC. Quote Link to comment
headrat_uk
Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
I have looked in to the support.zip but no idea what the reason is or how it could be solved. You can tay TransEdit from the members section for a channelscan. If it works you can send the channels to the DVBViewer. http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/Content.html Quote Link to comment
headrat_uk
Still no joy, seem like it doesn't see my DVB hardware? Edited August 13, 2008 by headrat_uk Quote Link to comment
headrat_uk
So I guess I'm screwed then Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Do you have the "Windows Media Center TV Pack 2008" (Fiji) installed? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Hopefully in the current BETA 3.9.4.70 the problem is fixed. Change: BDA direct tuning mode: In direct tuning mode an internal network provider is now used instead the MS NP. Hopefully this will help with the $FFFFFFF Error on some x64 Vista systems. http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=214283 Activate Options > Hardware > Direct tuning Quote Link to comment

I can scan satellite (and get HD) no problem but cannot scan Terrestrial without the error listed earlier in these posts. Looking in the members area for the beta 3.9.4.70, however can't find it?..... Regards LeClerc Quote Link to comment
