Valts Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 This time concerning OSD timeline. First of all it doesn't save all the display options - for example setting which determines how many programs are shown X axis scale (blue->7 -> decrease). Then the Tune doesn't seem to work at all (blue->2). Now the first you can live with but fact that tuning doesn't work is not good. Also I imagine it should be easier to tune - for example if the focus is on the first column (channel name/logo) and the OSD ok is clicked it should tune to that station. TIA. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 the first one is correct, this is not a persistent setting. The second one does of course work as exspected. mark an entry press OSD-Blue + 2 and it changes. Of course easier would be mark an entry and press OSD-OK. works also without problems. Quote

My mistake, understand the idea now. Altho when you press blue + 2 kind of expect to tune to channel even when it's in channel logo column. Also I played around with skin osd editor for the timeline and can't really understand the behaviour of the timeline. For example how it decides how many lines (channels) to draw at the time. This seems to change not only from the height (naturally) but also from the vertical position (Y) on the screen of the base control. Plus there seems to be a gap on top between the time display and the channels. Can't work out how to reduce it's size (see attached picture). And one more thing I have noticed about progressbars - from what it seems they are being drawn not in a single pass but drawn in 4 passes - backround, left, middle, right which results in visible gaps between left, middle, right parts. Valts Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 More bugs with timeline (default skin). When the X axis scale is changed (zoomed in) enough it breaks down: 1) the position of the vertical line moves to left of the screen 2) cant scroll in X direction anymore. Quote
Valts Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 Another minor one - if you get "no hardware available" dialog box on your OSD then screen stops to respond properly to maximize/restore commands - the image gets stuck in the previous size & position while the particular dialog box is up. Valts Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 More bugs heading your way: OSD Timeline when opened on the last channel in the favorite list displays pretty much invalid screen - the channel is placed on the first row and rest of the screen is filled with pretty much junk. Lars are you reading this? Would really like to see your responses. Quote
