Recording issue with 2 DVB-S2 cards installed

Hi,

I have 2 DVB-S2 cards installed:

  • KNCOne DVB-S2+ with CI
  • Terratec Cinergy S2 PCI HD CI

When I only have the KNCOne card installed, *.ts recordings run fine. When I have 2 cards installed, *.ts recordings are truncated either to 0 bytes or a couple of Kb.

What is the cause of this behavior?

Regards, Arjen.

Is there anybody with 2 DVB-S or S2 PCI cards from 1 or 2 brands in 1 system who can normally view and record?

I just tried again. Disabling the card in DVBViewer does not solve the issue. Even if I remove the card from DVBViewer, the recordings do not work.

I looked at the resources that the cards use. They do not share interrupts.

This is totally weird to me. What good is a DVBViewer program that only allows 1 card?

Or is the trick to have 1 PCI card and 1 USB card?
