TerraTec Cinergy S2 HD reciever issues

I recently got a TerraTec Cinergy S2 HD with out the CI and installed it into my Dell Inspiron 531. Initally all was well when I scanned a known frequency and up showed the BBC channels I was expecting , the problem came when I wanted to do a full scan. Ater scanning 3-4 transponders the signal into the card seemed to die. If I take the LNB feed and put it into a Sky box all is OK. Back into the PC , no go.

 

Then I hard reboot my computer , shutdown, pull the power cable and hold the power button for 10 sec.

 

Boot back up again and start either the software that comes with the card , or DVBViewer and all is fine , the few channels scaned are available. However when I start switching channels between transponders the card seems to die again and the only way to bring it back it to hard reboot again.

 

I thought this might be a power issues so I tried the card in a different XP machine with a very light load on the CPU. Still the same.

 

I am using this cards extra power connector in both cases.

 

Have other people seen issues with this card or the different branded versions of it ? Twinhan or Azurewave ?
