bodorange Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Is it possible to specify a config directory for DVBViewer? Right now I am using C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CMUV and AIUI it is also possible to use the program directory or a user profile. I'd like to be able to specify another location. Reason being I often restore the machine from ghost images and would like DVBviewers config directory to be off the system volume. Is this possible? If not, could it possibly be added to a future version? Quote
Tjod Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Take a look here: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=150777 But if you use UserMode=0 make sure that all users which use the DVBViewer have wright access to the DVBViewer folder. In Vista normal Admin rights are not enough to wight in C:\Program Files. Quote

Looks like my only option is to set it to installation directory and install DVBViewer off of the system volume. Maybe an option to support a custom config path could be added in a future release? Something like UserMode=3; Root=/absolute/path/ Edited September 5, 2008 by bodorange Quote
