Makaronen Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 (edited) I have a FloppyDTV-C and have Comhem sweden as my TV-Supplier... I got the latest MCE driver from DE installed for Windows TV Pack Fiji installed on my Vista Ultimate 64bit system... I search the channels i Vista MCE and i found every channel except the HD Channels.... Thats the reason i also want DVBViewer to watch HD Channels.... When i have stopped the TV in Vista MCE and closed it down and scanning for channels with DVBViewer i got a error message something like this: (VON ADRESE FFFFFFF VON ADRESSE FFFFFFF.) But the weird is if i click aprox 5 times on the scan button it suddenly starts searching channels... DVBViewer then founds channels BUT when it comes to 100 % DVBViewer Freezes and the only way to close the program is to force it down with task manager... When it Freezes theres a new error message like: (VON ADRESE MSVIDCTL.DLL) The scan does not save the channels when i have forced DVBViewer down. I Know MSVIDCTL.DLL is a very important file for Directshow tv and i think Vista lock this file even if i stopped TV in MCE. Anyone has a clue what to do ?? Makaronen Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Sure i will give it a try after work... Hi ! Yesterday i tried to install the BDA driver with no luck... I Uninstalled the MCE driver first and made a reboot... Installed the BDA driver, but after the installation there is a exclamation mark in devicemanager for my FireDTV TV Tuner.... And there is a message that windows could not load the driver...? Installed the MCE driver again and i am back at the beginning... Could it be the MCE TV Pack who is the problem or what ? Quote

Tjod Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Hopefully in the current BETA 3.9.4.70 the problem is fixed. Change: BDA direct tuning mode: In direct tuning mode an internal network provider is now used instead the MS NP. Hopefully this will help with the $FFFFFFF Error on some x64 Vista systems. http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=214283 Activate Options > Hardware > Direct tuning Quote
