amirhs Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Hi, all, I guess I've found a bug in the "Channel Editor" dialog. This dialog has two edit boxes which display the "Video PID" and the "Audio PID" for the selected channel. Now the problem is that when I set either of these PID numbers to "0", and select either the "Close" button or the "Update" button, upon re-opening the "Channel Editor" dialog the modified number reverts to its original/non-modified state. Setting the "Audio PID" to "0" might make no sense, you might say; however, as a visually impaired user I usually tend to set Video PIDs to "0" in order to turn TV channels to radio channels. Having come from the ProgDVB world and having read the DVBViewer Pro manual, I expect to be able to set the "Video PID" to "0" but currently it doesn't work. Am I missing something here? In case this is a bug, any chance of fixing it in the next release? Quote
amirhs Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 For completion's sake, I'm using DVBViewer Pro V3.9.40 on Windows Vista Premium. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Most likely the channel autoupdate does set the PIDs back to their correct values. You can disable it in the channel menu. Quote

It resolves the issue I reported. However, does unchecking the "Auto-Update Channel" menu item disable the updating of all channels or does it just affect the current channel? In other words, can this be checked/unchecked for each channel individually? Quote
