misza Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Hi! I use DVBViewer and I must say that it's the best dvb player, but I have few ideas: 1. There is no possibility to load a subtitles from hdd. I can load avi but I can't load txt for this movie from my hdd. 2. It will be great if users can set more functions to their remotes for example "osd radio menu" , "switch radio and tv" etc. regards. Moses Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 1. You should install ffdshow, make sure it's used for your *.avi files (and whatever you want to watch) (if that's not the case, raise it's merrit value, have a look at radlight filter manager for that) and then configure it to load & show subtitles automatically. misza Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 thanks Moses subtitles works fine Tjod thanks also, but I can't find option such like "osd radio" , there is "osd-favorite list" but there is no "osd- radio list". Quote
Moses Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 (edited) There is no OSD radio list action, that is right. The favorite list should be able to contain both, tv and radio channels. The normal osd channellist should remember what was selected the last time, tv channels, radio or favorites. //Edit: ok, I'm wrong here. The OSD Show channellist action always shows the channellist. If you open the channellist from the osd menue, the window will remember it's last setting. Obviously the possibility to open the radio list from the remote seems to be missing in DVBViewer somehow... Edited October 4, 2008 by Moses Quote
Gioxy Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Obviously the possibility to open the radio list from the remote seems to be missing in DVBViewer somehow... Seems you don't consider the OSD-Playlist (from v. 3.9.2 there is a unique playlist...): it can be easily filled/managed in the Playlist window with Web-Radio and Video/Music files and used from the OSD... OK, ATM there is no direct action command - so you have to click around 3 o 4 time - but at least you can use it with the remote Quote
