pancho88 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I have a strange problem with my Technisat Skystar HD 2 and DVBViewer Pro last release with CI module. If I enable the CI module in options - hardware tab the reception of a FTA channel give me an image every about three seconds. It seems the software is going to enquire the CI for clear channel too (with CAM inserted or not). If I disable CI in configuration the reception is normal. I have tried to reinstall DVBViewer many times or change config options without any results. I'm using a performant PC, Intel core 2 quad and windows Vista home prem SP1, Videocard NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT with latest drivers. For a few days I was able to receive encrypted channel. The Cam is working well with a Humax receiver. I have tried also to install drivers from twinhan instead of original from technisat but they are not working. Any suggestion? support.zip Quote
Moses Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Tripple check if the CI Module is correctly attached to the card. Did you plug-in the additional power supply on the card? Some CAM Modules tend to need much power. Quote
pancho88 Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Yes, I checked the connection from CI mod to tv-sat card and additional power cable is plugged in. It seems to me that something is bad in system config and uninstalling the sw doesn't clean the situation. Quote
