missing configuration/settings menu

After having used DVBViewer ver. 3.6 for a long time and being happy with it, it started to have a strang behavior! Sometimes it coulkd not be stopped and I had to restart the PC. Settings, like subtitles, save-format, save-destination etc. were no longer saved and had to be set every time!

Then, the other day, I upgraded to ver. 3.9.4, and now almost everything is working. BUT the configuration/settings menu has gone!!! Before my troubles startet I could click on the screen and get a settings window or a minimized DVBViewer with a menu bar on top. This is unfortunately not possible anymore.

 

Any suggestions.

 

I love this application, but these problems are quit annoying. Any help is highly appreciated.
