gulimaes Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I have install the newest version of DVBViewer and everything seems ok, but i have a issue that i don´t find how to solve. I have scanned DVB-T and DVB-S but when i change from a DVB-T to a DVB-S, or viceversa i get an error message, i have to go to the View menu and restart Renderitation each time i want to go from Terrestrian to Satelite. Is have been solved this bug? I have been reading but i couldn´t find the solution, if there is any. I use the DVbbridge to carry the signal to Vista Media Center. (but when scanning in the MC Vista i have to Restart Renderitation otherwise no channel are found. Regards Quote
Lars_MQ Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 What error message? What dvb-cards? Please post some more information: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=2210 Quote
gulimaes Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 (edited) Well, i get black screen when I change from dvb-T to Dvb-S and viceversa, i wait but nothing happens, so i have to start renderization. DirectX config. Video Renderization: EVR Vista Enhanced Video Renderer Audio Renderization: Default Direct Sound Device. MPEG-2 Video Decode: Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PCM45) H-264 Video Decode: Cyberlink H264/AVC decoder (PCM45 Audio Decoder MPEG: AC3filter Audio Decoder AC3 AC3filter Audio AAC decoder: system Default. Automatic detection of Audio checked Automatic detection of Vidio checked Use DVBSource for MPEG2, H264 not checked. OS Vista SP1 Motherboard Gigabite GA-MA78GM- S2H (audio and graphics integrated) DVB- Hauppage 4000 with latest drivers form the oficial site. I have tried to change the parameters of the DirectX menu with diferents results but without success. I have noticed that when i change from one source to the otherone, at the bottom of the DVBViewer (where it appears wich device is using DVB-T or DVB-S doesn´t change and remain the same with 0% signal.) It seems like it doesn´t change the device properly. any idea? Thanks, I attached the support file. support.zip Edited October 15, 2008 by gulimaes Quote
Lars_MQ Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 This seems to be a hybrid device. try the current beta, it works with hybrid devices. remember to delete your hardware.xml in the user data folder, to force a redetection of the dvb devices. Quote
gulimaes Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 ok, I´ll try the new beta version to check if it´s better, but i rather a stable version of the program. Yes, the Hauppauge 4000 is a hibryd card (DVB-S and Dvb-T), but i didn´t know that the actual version 3.9.4. is not supported for Hybrid cards. I have my doubt about the Video Renderization at the DirectX config. I actually use the Vista EVR but i want to use the DVBbridge to integrate the signal into the Vista Media Center. The DVBbridge manual says to use Overlay Mixer in the Video Renderization, but when i use this option and i change the source from DVB-S to DVB-T or viceversa, after a few seconds, i get a small black window error message saying that the Device is not found, i press ok and it changes the channel, but at the bottom of the DVBViewer window doesn´t change the Device and still says the first one at 0% signal when you put the mouse cursor at that point. I start renderization and now i get 98% signal with the correct device. Any way the problem seems to be because of the hybrid part of the card. About the hardware.xml file, i will delete it before i update to the Beta Version. thanks Gustavo Quote
