aydan Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Hi, After installing WinXPSP3 on my system I started having a few problems (ran W2k before and everything DVBV related worked fine). The problem being that the Skystar sometimes doesn't work after resuming from hibernation. Just now it would record an empty file and not tune any channels. So I decativated/reactivated the device in the device manager et voila it works again. Strange thing is I never had such problems with W2k. Has anybody else had such problems and maybe a solution? Thanks Aydan PS: My Skystar is 5 years old now. So maybe the XP drivers have a revision issue? Quote
Tjod Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Go in the driver options (via Control Panel) on the last page (energy management) and disable the option PC can switch of the Device (i am not sure about the exact English names). This should help. Quote
