DVBserver problems with multiple cards

Hello, I hope someone can help me with a problem I can't solve.

I have the following setup:

1) floppy dtv dvb-s2 with viaccess cam and original Srg card

2) floppy dtv dvb-t with smardtv cam and original mediaset premium card

DVBViewer 3.9.4.0

DVBServer 3.9.4.0

The setup works flawlessly under DVBViewer.

I am now trying to set up DVBServer.

The problem is, I can get the DVB-S2 card working (the client can scan channels, tune and decode without problems), but I just cannot have the client recognize the DVB-T card. This is setup as a unicast device. Whenever I tune into DVB-T i get "no hardware available" message.

The DVBServer windows shows both cards. The channellist is identical. I have even tried setting up terrestrial channels as "A" channelgroup and satellite channels as "B" channelgroup, to no avail. It does not work even if I only leave the DVB-T card in the DVBserver hardware tab.

So I would like to know:

1) is this at all feasible, at least in theory? or is the multidevice just supposed to work with 2 dvb cards of the same kind?

2) if it's feasible, how should it be set up properly?

Thanks in advance to whoever will come to the rescue...

You need to setup two Unicast Devices in the DVBViewer Client (and set every parameter for them according to the real devices in the server, most important is the tuner type!!). To get two unicast devices, you need to edit the usermode.ini in the DVBViewer folder. There you can set the number of devices, do that, while the DVBViewer client is switched off. Then start the DVBViewer client and do a hardware scan and set the parameters.
